This one is for all the little youngsters out there on the playgrounds in Utrecht .

For Gemeente Utrecht (the manicipally of Utrecht) I made this board game in collaboration with Marieke Ploeg  and Sammy Hemerik. 

The game is part of a big policy plan that aims to improve Utrecht’s playgrounds. The city has 21 playgrounds where the children of the after school care play. The game is meant to allow these kids to talk about their ideas and findings in a playful way, and to create dialogues about the playground. You could see the game as a playful survey.

To play the game kids walk the path full of obstacles, cut-off routes and surfaces where questions will be pulled from the question range. Each path’s color represents a category, in order to treat a wide range of subjects during the play.
